Acting as a trusted advisor to the Tune Protect Malaysia leadership team, the incumbent will ensure IT services effectively address business needs while maintaining operational excellence and mitigating risks related to IT landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of the technology landscape, the ability to foster stakeholder relationships, and a focus on security, business continuity, and operational excellence.<\/span><\/p>
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>

Strategy & Leadership<\/strong><\/p>
Provide leadership to the IT Operations unit, fostering a culture of business orientation and continuous service improvement.<\/li>
Develop and execute IT operations strategies and roadmaps aligned with Group IT and enterprise strategic plans.<\/li>
Control annual operating and capital expenditure budgets (Capex\/Opex)<\/li>
Support the business in driving customer-centric initiatives for good customer engagement and experience.<\/li><\/ul>
<\/p>
IT Service Management<\/strong><\/p>
Ensure smooth transition and ongoing support for the core system migration to go-live and post-go-live phases.<\/li>
Oversee IT end-user services, core system operations and IT service management<\/li>
Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and operating level agreements (OLAs) across Tune Protect entities are met consistently<\/li>
Lead IT service management initiatives and develop IT scorecards for senior management reviews<\/li><\/ul>
Risk & Security<\/strong><\/p>
Identify, assess, and communicate risks related to the IT landscape<\/li>
Ensure effective application of security, risk management, and business continuity principles<\/li>
Address and resolve findings from internal and external IT audits (e.g., EY, KPMG) to achieve timely closure<\/li><\/ul>

Partner and Vendor Engagement<\/strong><\/p>
Develop IT vendor management processes and governance frameworks.<\/li>
Enhance engagement with strategic partners and suppliers through effective partner governance.<\/li>
Foster collaborative partnerships to improve service delivery and operational efficiency<\/li><\/ul>
Performance and Governance<\/strong><\/p>
Measure and ensure operational services and performance using consistent and accurate metrics.<\/li>
Align IT initiatives with the long-term and annual business plans of the organization.<\/li>
Support the rollout of security and quality assurance initiatives.<\/li>
Maintain close coordination with audit, product, and technology teams to drive improvements.<\/li><\/ul>

<\/p>
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.<\/li>
Minimum 10 years of versatile experience in IT Application Operations, with a preference for candidates from financial institutions, though not mandatory.<\/li>
Proven experience in managing and implementing modern technologies, including:<\/li><\/ul>

-         API-driven architectures.<\/p>
