- Provide technical advice and support on underwriting matters to Marketers, Agents, Brokers, and other Partners. <\/li>
- Provide technical training to identified key Sales colleagues. <\/li>

Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>- Education: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Professional insurance qualifications (e.g. ACII, AMII, ANZIIF) will be an added advantage. <\/li>
- Experience: Minimum 2\u20135 years of underwriting experience, preferably in Marine, Liability, or Commercial Lines. <\/li>

- Resource Optimization: Lead and supervise support teams, optimizing workforce capacity to manage fluctuating claim volumes effectively.<\/li>
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation controls to ensure service continuity and quality.<\/li><\/ul>

2. Vendor & TPA Governance<\/p>
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and manage a structured performance management framework for External Vendors and TPAs, focusing on service quality, SLA adherence, cost efficiency, and compliance.<\/li>
- Agreement Management: Review vendor contracts and implement monthly tracking mechanisms to ensure all external partners uphold professional standards.<\/li>
- Contract Review: Conduct regular reviews of External Vendors' and TPAs' agreements and implement a monthly tracking mechanism to monitor performance and compliance.<\/li>
- Tender & Renewals: Manage the full end-to-end process for open tenders, new applications, or contract renewals for External Vendors and TPAs.<\/li><\/ul>
<\/p>
3. Strategic Project Leadership<\/p>
- Act as the project lead for Claims Transformation initiatives, focusing on automating manual workflows and integrating new technical capabilities (e.g., e-payments or digital registration).<\/li>
- Identify gaps in the current claims journey and lead cross-functional projects to modernize the claims infrastructure.<\/li><\/ul>
<\/p>
4. Process Innovation & Business Improvement<\/p>
- Explore and implement new approaches to the business operating model to exceed customer expectations while ensuring a commercial return.<\/li>
- Drive a \"continuous improvement\" culture by re-engineering workflows in the registration and ancillary services sections to optimize team capacity.<\/li><\/ul>

3. Underwriting Support & Risk Management<\/p>
- Monitor the supply and control of cover note issuance to agents.<\/li>
- Arrange pre-acceptance and follow-up surveys with risk surveyors when required, including risk management and loss minimization assessments.<\/li>
- Guide agents regarding non-motor products, underwriting requirements, and documentation.<\/li><\/ul>
4. Sales & Service Delivery<\/p>
- Provide timely and competitive non-motor quotations to agents and intermediaries.<\/li>
- Ensure prompt issuance of policies, endorsements, and other relevant documents.<\/li>
- Manage and support agents in servicing clients efficiently and professionally.<\/li><\/ul>
5. Collections & Financial Responsibility<\/p>
- Responsible for premium collection from agents, clients, and other intermediaries.<\/li>
- Ensure all collections are made within the stipulated time frame and adhere to company guidelines.<\/li><\/ul>
